Multidisciplinary Visual Designer

FAQ ⇀

Ask me anything.

1. What services do you offer as a communication designer?
I offer a broad range of services, including branding, logo design, print materials, website design, illustration, and visual identity systems. My goal is to ensure your brand communicates effectively across all platforms.

2. What is the typical design process like?
My design process is collaborative and structured. We typically start with a workshop to explore your goals, target audience, and brand identity. Afterward, I create moodboards, develop initial concepts, and refine the design based on your feedback. The final step involves production and delivery of the design, ready for use.

3. How long does a design project usually take?
The timeline depends on the complexity and scope of the project. A logo design may take 2-4 weeks, while a full branding package or website design could take several months. After our initial discussion or workshop, I can provide a more accurate timeline.

4. How much does a design project cost?
The cost varies depending on the project's scope and complexity. For example, a basic logo design might start at €800, while a full visual identity and website design package could range from €4000 to €10000. I typically provide a tailored offer after our initial workshop to ensure the proposal reflects your specific needs and budget.

5. Do you charge by the hour or by the day?
I charge €120 per hour plus VAT, or €900 per person-day plus VAT. I also offer package prices for larger projects and reduced rates for specific tasks, such as author corrections.

6. Can I get a quote before we start?
Yes, I can provide an initial estimate based on the project’s general scope and your requirements. However, for more complex projects or unclear budgets, I recommend waiting until after the workshop for a more precise quote.

7. What if I want changes during the design process?
Feedback and refinement are part of the process. I encourage open communication and structured feedback loops, where we can collaboratively adjust the design to make sure it aligns with your vision. Rather than making “corrections,” we fine-tune the design where necessary.

8. Do you offer moodboards and concept presentations?
Absolutely. I always present moodboards early in the process to ensure we're aligned on style and tone. Concept presentations follow, allowing us to explore different directions before narrowing down the final design.

9. What happens if the project scope changes?
If the scope changes significantly during the project (for example, adding additional deliverables or expanding beyond the initial brief), I will adjust the timeline and cost accordingly. Any changes are discussed transparently before proceeding.

10. Do you work with external developers or printers?
Yes, I frequently collaborate with developers and printers to ensure that your design is executed perfectly across all media. I can handle the coordination and ensure smooth communication between all parties involved.

11. What files will I receive at the end of the project?
Once the project is complete, you will receive all the necessary files in the formats required for print and digital use, including high-resolution images, vector files, and any other deliverables agreed upon in the project scope.
