The Workflow

⇀  INITIAL WORKSHOP AND DISCOVERY
We begin with a comprehensive workshop, where we dive deep into your project goals, target audience, and the bigger picture. This workshop is crucial — it’s not just about gathering information, but about defining clear terms and ensuring we are aligned from the start. I also introduce the importance of effective feedback, guiding you on how we can collaborate to make the design process efficient and purposeful. I provide targeted worksheets with specific questions to help focus our discussions.

The workshop is typically included in the project unless we decide not to move forward together. In such cases, I bill by the hour, with workshops usually lasting 2–4 hours. You can find the hourly rate in the "Money Talk" section.

If necessary, I can provide an initial offer before the workshop for budgeting purposes, based on our early discussions and the general scope of the project. However, for more complex projects, a refined offer may follow after the workshop to ensure accuracy.

⇀  MOODBOARDS AND CONCEPT EXPLORATION
After the workshop, I’ll create a detailed moodboard to visually outline the direction of the project. This step ensures we are aligned on style, tone, and overall aesthetic. The moodboard serves as the foundation for the creative concepts that follow. Once the moodboard is reviewed and approved, I move forward with brainstorming and sketching potential design directions.

⇀ TAILORED BRIEFING AND FINAL OFFER
Based on the workshop insights, I take the time to personally draft a thorough project brief. This brief captures the essence of our discussions and highlights the strategic direction for the design. It is then shared with you for review and input. At this stage, I can provide a precise and targeted offer, especially for more complex projects like brochures, logos, or illustrations. A clear understanding of the scope ensures the offer is aligned with your expectations and budget.

⇀  COLLABORATIVE FEEDBACK AND REFINEMENT
As we move into the design phase, your feedback remains essential. I encourage collaborative feedback sessions, where we refine the design together. This ensures the design evolves in line with your vision, while I guide the process to ensure everything aligns strategically and aesthetically. Our goal is to move forward in clear, structured steps without unnecessary loops.

⇀  DESIGN EXECUTION AND FINALIZATION
With the concept finalized, I move into the detailed design phase. Whether it’s a brochure, logo, website, or illustration, every element is carefully crafted and adjusted based on our previous feedback. I ensure all components are consistent, impactful, and ready for production or launch.

⇀ PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY
Once the design is approved, I prepare the final files for print or digital use. I also handle any coordination with printers, developers, or other service providers to ensure a smooth transition. Throughout this final phase, I remain available for any further adjustments or support needed.
